Shri Basaveshwar Veerashaiva Vidya Vardak Sangha was founded by his holiness Shri Gurubasav Mahaswamiji of Bilur, a visionary far ahead of his times in the year 1906. At present, the Sangha has a network of more than 132 educational institutions, creche to Doctorate levels, spread over the districts of Bagalkot, Belgaum in Karnataka state. Nursing Institution was established in 1998 keeping in view the heavy rush for admission to various Professional courses. It is rendering its service to women desirous of seeking admission to the Professional Courses.
